Updates to Events payloads and subscription configuration
Shopify updated Events payloads, trigger syntax, and delivery headers. The key change: fields_changed is no longer a flat array but an object with added, updated, and removed arrays, so you can tell whether a resource was added, a value updated, or a relationship removed without a follow-up query. Classic webhook subscriptions are unaffected. Update payload handlers to read fields_changed.added/updated/removed.

Delivery options in Shopify Functions input now expose their metafields
Shopify Functions can now read metafields attached to delivery options in the cart. On API version 2026-10, call metafield(namespace:, key:) on any option in cart.deliveryGroups.deliveryOptions. Relevant for Delivery Customization Functions and any function whose input includes delivery options; no action required.
